SPICY TACO BURGERS

Chiles and cheese team up to make each new bite a surprise.

1 ½ pound lean ground beef
1 package (1.25 ounces) LAWRY'S TACO Spices & Seasonings
3 tablespoons chill sauce or ketchup
1 cup (4 ounces) grated Monterey Jack cheese
3 tablespoons diced green chiles
6 Cheddar cheese slices
6 flour tortillas, warmed


In medium bowl, combine ground beef, Taco Spices & Seasonings and chili sauce; blend well. Form into 12 patties. Sprinkle 6 of the patties with Monterey Jack cheese and green chiles. Top with remaining 6 patties, sealing around edges so cheese does not leak out. Grill or broil burgers 5 to 7 minutes on each side. Top with cheddar cheese. Place 1 patty and 1 tomato slice near upper edge of each tortilla. Fold in sides and fold bottom half of tortilla up over burger. Secure with toothpicks.  Makes 6 servings Presentation: Serve with guacamole, dairy sour cream and fresh salsa.
