HAMBURGER TERIYAKI
1-½ pounds ground beef.
1-½ teaspoons cornstarch.
¼-cup water.
1-teaspoon ginger.
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder.
¼-cup soy sauce.
1-8-ounce can sliced pineapple
Shape beef into 6 patties. Mix cornstarch with water. Add ginger, garlic, soy sauce and pineapple Juice. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Brush Each patty generously with sauce broil or grill about 3 inches from the heat for 8 to 12 minutes, turning once place a pineapple slice on the top of each patty for the last 4 minutes of broiling or grilling. Serve remaining sauce with patties.
