BLUE CHEESE BURGERS

1 ¼ pound lean ground beef1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1 ½ teaspoons chopped fresh leaf thyme
¾ teaspoon salt
Dash of ground pepper
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled

Preheat grill

Combine ground beef, onions and seasonings in medium bowl; mix lightly. Shape into eight patties. Place cheese in center of four patties to within ½ inch of outer edge; top with remaining burgers. Press edge together to seal.
Grill 8 minutes or to desired doneness, turning once. Serve with lettuce, tomatoes and Dijon-style mustard on whole-buns, if desired.
